Smoking? allowed.
September 27, 2008Now, smoking is like STRANGE ordinary thing for people, even for women.
In my college, almost all students come from Jakarta and 50 % smoke. Its not consider their gender. Privately, I don’t bother by them, because i use to.
But many people smoke outdoor or in a bedroom, affect other people who stays in the same room or get the “smoke smell”
When i went to my friend’s house, Kenny, I surprised that she had a “asbak hexos” called Smokeless Ashtray. After I saw that, I googling that tag. In fact, the smokeless ashtray had been spread around the world to decrease the factor of global warming and to help the no-smoking people for deserve the healthy environment.
This ashtray, can effectively prevent the flue gas of the air pollution, reduces the formation of passive smoking. It has a special part which the cigarette keep on burning even without smoke to 30-60seconds and the smoke will not come out from the hole
With this thing, we can stay friends with the smoker without feel perforce. It increase our quality life, Its thing very helpful. Based on research, many man died because he used to smoke. Also, i practically feel that, the face is getting old and not fresh because smoke from cigarette is bad.
two thumbs up for this product, i love it and the models are funny too
MindSet as Obstacle
September 25, 2008Creativity is often cited as a key ingredient of corporate strategy and welfare, yet many firms that profess to be creative, are not. To avoid biases (like i learned in Decision Making and Negotiation) we can do these following:
Focusing on what we think
Confronting the unchallenged articles of faith that lead to executive actions and biases
A mindset audit is offered as a tool

was born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, Oprah Winfrey was reared by her grandmother on a farm where she began her broadcasting career by learning to read aloud and perform recitations. From age 6 to 13, she lived in Milwaukee with her mother. After suffering abuse and molestation, she ran away and was sent to a juvenile detention home at the age 13. She was sent to Nashville to live under her father’s strict discipline. Vernon Winfrey makes her met a midnight curfew, and he required her to read a book and write a book report each week. Because of that Oprah said, “As strict as he was and he had some concerns about me making the best of my life, and would not accept anything less than what he thought was my best.”
Oprah Winfrey’s broadcasting career began at age 17 and two years later signed on with WTVF-TV in Nashville as a reporter/anchor. She attended Tennessee State University, where she majored in Speech Communications and Performing Arts.
In 1976, she moved to Baltimore to join WJZ-TV news as a co-anchor, and in 1978 discovered her talent for hosting talk shows when she became co-host of WJZ-TV’s “People Are Talking”.
She came to Chicago to host WLS-TV’s “AM Chicago,” In less than a year, she turned the show into the hottest show in town. The format was soon expanded to one hour, and in September 1985 it was renamed “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”
In June 1987, in its first year of eligibility, “The Oprah Winfrey Show” received three Daytime Emmy Awards in the categories of Outstanding Host, Outstanding Talk/Service Program and Outstanding Direction. In June 1988, “The Oprah Winfrey Show” received its second consecutive Daytime Emmy Award as Outstanding Talk/Service Program, and she herself received the International Radio and Television Society’s “Broadcaster of the Year” Award. She was the youngest person and only the fifth woman ever to receive the honor in IRTS’s 25-year history.
Before America fell in love with Oprah Winfrey the talk show host, she captured the nation’s attention with her poignant portrayal of Sofia in Steven Spielberg’s 1985 adaptation of Alice Walker’s novel, The Color Purple. Winfrey’s performance earned her nominations for an Oscar and Golden Globe Award in the category of Best Supporting Actress. Critics again lauded her performance in Native Son, a movie adaptation of Richard Wright’s classic 1940 novel.Press This

PILLOWS TALK
September 23, 2008
“Always tell the truth. That way you never have to remember what you said.”
At bedtime we are calm and receptive. These inspirational pillowcases products share messages of love, motivation and wisdom. By reading the thoughtful words as the last action our brains do, optimism & creativity will develop in a distraction-free environment, & inspire us all night. Each day will begin with confidence & each evening will end thoughtfully. Reiterating the same loving messages positively affects self-development and self-esteem.
Now, there are pillowcases which including the LOVE WORDS. called Pillow Talk. Its represent our feeling. Pillow Talk pillowcases promote talking & thinking about the world around us as well as the world within.
I think it is a wonderful tool for people who you love. For the shy people that cannot show it by words, just give them and your feeling will be arrived at them. If I get these pillowcases, I would be more care to people whom give this to me. It will give the happy and satisfy feeling to other people.
Its products are very different and interesting for me, as a personal.
People who cannot be happy and feel loves is very unfortunate, I think.
Good Grades without Being a NERD
September 22, 2008When you are smart, you sometimes can face ridicule from classmates. Lecturers recognize your intelligence as hard work, while other students might only recognize it as kissing up or being a “nerd” You shouldn’t have to hide your intelligence, I think these ways is very compatible with your “PEOPLE” environment
Practice self restraint when raising your hand to answer questions. Most lectures will recognize your hard work through other means and keep your in class answering to a minimum.
Stay organized by keeping track of assignments and test dates. This doesn’t mean you need to carry a big organizer. It doesn’t make subjecting you to more teasing.
Review it again. I think, the “read again” thing can very improve your memory about what had been thought in that day and you will remember it longer than you just hear the lecturers said.
Relax. Overly eager to learn can bring potentially negative attention your way.
Do quality work. Slacking off in school to avoid being labeled as a nerd or know-it-all only hurts you in the long run.
Inspire Yourself?
September 22, 2008Sometimes you need a boost to get CREATIVE content flowing, to get inspiration on ART
First thing, Get comfortable with yourself like your taste, favorites and try to implement in daily activity and CREATE YOUR “OWN” SELF. Then, Using your ruler, draw a straight line diagonally across page. Begin in the top left corner and draw down to the bottom right corner. Now do the same thing on the opposite side of your paper. Using your ruler, draw a line from the top right corner, diagonally down the page and ending at the bottom left corner. You should now have an “X” or your POSITIVE IMAGE / CHARACTERISTIC. Now, take your ruler and draw lines connecting to the other lines. You might make boxes of various sizes, or you might create something asymmetrical and interesting. Continue drawing connecting lines with your ruler until you are satisfied. Next step Since you are probably tired of drawing lines by now, go ahead and add free-hand curves to your design. Now is when your creativity will begin to blossom.
With color, you will bring your design to life and you may be surprised at how much you like it! For added punch you can go back and define your lines with heavy black marker. The more elements, the happier you’ll be with your inspiration piece.
The RESULT, you should be quite ready to spend the next few hours in the bliss known only to creative minds.
